A self-initiated CGI study of Teenage Engineering’s OP-XY sequencer — exploring multiple camera angles, lighting moods, and a sculptural multi-unit composition.
(Self-initiated concept study. Not affiliated with Teenage Engineering.)

Starting point
Teenage Engineering's OP-XY is one of the most beautifully designed instruments ever made — every button, every knob, every grid placement is intentional. We wanted to explore what a high-end CGI treatment of this product could look like.
This self-initiated study focuses on material accuracy, dramatic lighting, and creative composition — including a sculptural multi-unit arrangement that reinterprets the product as a visual artifact.

Problem solving
The goal was to push beyond standard product photography and demonstrate what CGI can do that a camera can't — impossible angles, perfect lighting control, and creative freedom.
